Our Commitment
BlackSheep is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to our website and platform.
Conformance Target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Measures Taken
BlackSheep takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
- Skip navigation links for keyboard users
- ARIA attributes on interactive components
- Keyboard-navigable dropdown menus
- Form inputs with associated labels
- Sufficient color contrast ratios for text content
- Alt text on all images
- Focus indicators on interactive elements
- Reduced motion support via prefers-reduced-motion media query
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts to ensure accessibility, some content may not yet be fully accessible. We are actively working to identify and resolve any remaining issues. Known areas under improvement include:
- Some third-party embedded content may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA
- Older PDF documents may not be fully accessible
